Alright, so a lot has changed in the last basically year since we had an update. We are now running a Co-DM setup for a new adventure in the world of Vaeros! Morgan and I are forging the story and adventure in the land of Theronia! So far it's been going well, with some natural road bumps figuring out how everything works.
Also the new homebrew has been very successful! So I don't think that anything will be removed from the game. In fact, I'm changing more! Check out the Rules section to see the new rule Indomitable Spirit and the update to the new Short Rest rules.
As you all have now found my Secret page, by alternative means, you now see where I'm tinkering with new ideas and options for players. Please check it out whenever you want! The only catch is, I won't let y'all know when I update that page versus my announcements with the rest of the site.
Another change is the slight face lift to the website all together! It is now no longer a solely Vaeros based website, but going to be my general D&D site for all our excursions. I will continue to make it a more friendly format for all things D&D.
That is about it on my changes so far. I didn't want to change anything I wrote previously because I haven't enough time to investigate what I want to keep and want to remove so I'm just gonna leave it down there for now.
Alright update over tata.
Oh and remember,
You may certainly try
I'm playing with a few fun homebrews that I believe will elevate the games we play. We do need to playtest them so please bear with me as we work out the kinks that may have been overlooked. So what all am I referring to?
New Rules regarding Exhaustion and Dying!
These four are all that I have changed recently I believe, so I would recommend reading up on them and making sure you understand them. For the most part, these rules are put in place to the benefit of the players.
I'm getting busy again, but I anticipated that. For now, I will be only running Ghosts of Saltmarsh since it is a prewritten module that I don't have to dedicate literal hours crafting and sculpting. I mean, I might do that still, but I don't HAVE to. From our current pace, ghosts of Saltmarsh is going to be a looong game to completion, so if we are getting tired of it, please let me know. There are so many games I want to run so if GoS is getting old I can just pull out a different game. The ones on my radar are currently:
Spelljammer Academy/Light of Xaryxis (Lvl 1-4 / 5-8)
Giants of the Starforge (Lvl 16)
Lost Mines of Phandelver (Lvl 1-5)
Phandelver and Below (Lvl 1-12)
Hoard of the Dragon Queen (Lvl 1-7)
Rise of Tiamat (Lvl 8-15)
Out of the Abyss (Lvl 1-15)
